Our company is looking for a Corporate Subcontracting Administrator to work in our Corporate Headquarters located in Carrollton, TX (a North Dallas suburb).

Role:

The Corporate Subcontracting Sourcing Specialist will work as a resource for our National Accounts, Division service branches and Subcontractors (which our company respectfully call our “Partners”). Therefore, possessing the ability to work interdependently, as well as in a collaborative environment is necessary. Servicing Overhead Doors and Loading Dock Equipment is the heart of our business. This role is critical to the success of our Branch Divisions daily operations by assuring we have compliant subcontractors, contract with quality vendors and negotiate with budget in mind. To accomplish our company goals, applicant must provide Subcontractor support by ensuring we work with reputable, reliable, customer focused and safety conscious vendors. In addition exhibit exceptional Customer Service to our internal & external teams. Collectively this platform provides the base for our Divisions to excel and increases profitability.

What you can expect to do

  • Manage the procurement of Vendor services for the company, including traveling to meet with Subcontractors and Divisions.
  • Research and source Subcontractors for service of various trades (primary focus will be Overhead Door and Loading Dock)
  • Verify official subcontractor documentation and their company eligibility.
  • Determine their alignment with DuraServ’s values and the company’s prerequisites. Communicate Subcontractor expectations with clarity to establish solid foundation for the service partnership to flourish
  • Facilitate and maintain favorable relationships with our Subcontractor Partners, as well as with our National Accounts and Division Branches
  • Maximize sourcing procedures to attain efficiency and sustainable partnerships. Assessing the vendor privation of our National Accounts Division and Service Branches to formulate sourcing strategy for each territory (25% to 35% Travel will be required)
  • Assist with annual Partner Conference event preparation
  • Communicate Subcontractor updates and information to the team, includes adding those revisions to the company database

Skills we are seeking

  • Proven experience with sourcing and vendor management is preferred
  • Ability to negotiate (terms, conditions, and rates)
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel), Teams, Zoom, Outlook (Email)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Access, MS Teams, and CRM experience
  • Strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and project management are required
  • Detail and Customer service oriented
  • Undergraduate Degree, a plus
  • Commercial overhead door, dock equipment, facility maintenance, construction industry knowledge (ideal, though not required)
