Our Warehouse Manager will work in a collaborative environment to fulfill all warehousing needs and provide support to Dallas Service Manager. This includes interfacing with internal teams, executive management, and external suppliers. To succeed in this role, the DWM should be highly organized and familiar with managing operations, warehousing, and a willingness to learn new systems. Previous management and/or military experience is a plus.

What you can expect to do

  • Maintain good working relationships with SDP partner’s, and suppliers
  • Monitor stock levels and process purchase orders for Dallas inventory
  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments and perform quarterly inventory counts
  • Assist Service Manager with administrative and management duties including, but not limited to, subcontractor management, PTO requests, and managing the maintenance of 15 technician trucks, cranes, welders, etc.

Skills we are seeking

  • 2+ years commercial dock and door experience, Military experience, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Well organized and detail oriented with a valid Driver’s License
  • Follows direction with focused attention
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintains a calm, professional demeanor when managing difficult situations and customers
  • Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Preferred Experience:

  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of common logistics software
  • Forklift and Scissor Lift Certified
  • OSHA 30
